Handsome Boy

What a nice Tanner/Butler mix!

Blah...

Usually Logan likes to be scared by saying "Boo" to him really loud, but after trying that Ginny decided to say "Blah" really quietly and he decided that's what he wanted to get his giggle factory started. Sometimes less is more...

Just Breath!

Logan has figured out that he can make noise both when he breaths out AND when he breaths in. When he first started doing this we thought he was hypervetalating or something, but it turns out he just likes the sound of his own voice!

Rolling Over

Well, Logan has finally done it; he has rolled over. Please note his poise and technique! He is doing well at rolling over onto his belly, but is still having a hard time returning to his back.

October brings new things!

Here are some fun pictures of Logan in his Halloween costume and a cute one of him and Adam.

More Fun Videos

Our Pediatrician suggested we use baby apple juice to mix with Logan's rice cereal and after a week of that, we thought we would give water a try.....because it's cheaper. Anyway, this was the result.

BOO!!! It's almost Halloween and Logan is excited!

House Tour

We thought that you all may like to see where we live, since it is very probable that we won't be getting many visitors, so we took a couple videos of our home. I got a little carried away and gave you all the play by play in every room, so if you would like to mute the sound, I wouldn't be offended.:)

Logan Adam Tanner

Logan had his four month visit yesterday and has proved to us that he is a healthy, happy boy! He now weighs 16lb 3oz and is 26 in long. He was all smiles and coos at the doctor's office until he had to get his four shots, but he handled them like a champ. The doctor said he must be a pro at these visits because when she put the tongue depressor in his mouth he said "aahhh!" He was given a new book at this visit, which we promptly read. He just loves books and being read to. Today we will try him on solids for the first time.....exciting! We have found that he has already found a love for singing. If Adam or I play the guitar, whether we sing or not, he will start singing along with the chords. He just loves music and singing and instruments and seems to be mesmerized by them. He is very talkative and the doctor told us that as soon as he can formulate words that he'll be talking up a storm. She also made the point that it may be cute now, but just wait until he is three and won't stop talking.....or as I hear it....asking questions?!?! Well, he is a fun and joyful addition to our home and gives us something new to laugh about everyday.

Quick Review!

Adam and I have looked back on this past year and have recounted a number of significant events. We lost my Grandmother Maycock, graduated USU, Adam got a great job, we moved from Logan to Riverton to Gillette, WY, welcomed a new baby boy into our family along with two new in laws and a niece and nephew.....and these are only the major events! It's been a trying year, but we've grown closer as a couple and a family. And so, now we have been in Gillette for just over two weeks and are getting to know the people here and the area. The weather is something not to be trifled with....we have the kind of wind that will close the car door for you...without asking first!:) So far the people of Gillette have proved to be down to earth, kind people and we are grateful.
This is my first stab at a blog, so there will be more to come!
