GETTING UP TO DATE

This is the before picture.....then watch the video at least twice.... and then comes the after picture. In the video, the dinosaur's head had just fallen off prior to recording.

In case you couldn't tell, the dinosaur below is a stegasaurus.
Yep, T-Rex.
Mac and a PC at the Ward Haloween Party.

Our adorable pumpkin.
One goofy guy and one goofy elephant.
He LOVES his robe.
Jay and Dad checking out the latest Cabella's magazine.

Our first snowman of the year. There will be many more to come, but hopefully they all won't look like Jack-o-lanterns.

You can stop watching this after the second big fall.....and then watch it a second time. We laughed and laughed.....make sure you have sound.

Our little burrito

I finally got a smile on camera! Every time I try, he gets a furrowed brow and stares at the camera.

We were making some home improvements and Logan decided he needed some eye protection...closing them helps, too.

Head Tilt

I just noticed the other day that Jay's clothes were fitting a bit snug, so I figured I'd put a few pics up now that he has gotten a little bigger. I couldn't get some of the pics to flip....hence the title.

Does anyone recognize that hat?

two in one

I should have made these two different postings, but no matter. Jay was blessed in church on the 6th of this month and it was such a sweet blessing. He really has a wonderful dad and we are so happy to have him in our family. He is a wonderful little boy and has lots of smiles for us when he is awake. He is a very good singer and usually accompanies us when we sing to him. Here are some pictures of the little man and after Jay, there are some little tidbits of what Logan has been up to these days, too.

Laugh Out Loud

As I'm changing Jay's diaper, Logan jumps up into the rocking chair, puts the boppy on his lap and a burp cloth on his shoulder and says, "Feed Baby Jay." I say, "You want to feed Jay?" He says, "Okay." Later, when I am changing Logan's diaper, I find one of my breast pads in his shirt.

Logan: "Ginny! Ginny! Giiiin, come here!" I walk down the stairs where he is waiting and look at him with a look only a mother could give and he says, "Hi, mommy."

Logan: "Daddy's crib?" After a little questioning, I figured out he wanted to play on our bed.

When I don't have pockets to put my phone in, I usually just put it down my shirt so I am not constantly loosing it. Logan was sitting on my lap and opened the front of my shirt and looked down. I was a little worried until he said, "Where's your phone?"

The other day I was nursing Jay in his room and Logan did a wonderful job of playing quietly in his own room the entire time. After I was all done, I went to praise him for a job well done, when I realized he wasn't in HIS room, he was in MY room. Bills were torn apart and colored all over in red pen(which I never found) and the computer was so jumbled that no buttons would work, so I had to shut it down. I now put a gate up in front of my door when I nurse Jay because our door doesn't lock.

Notice how in-sync the motorcycle sound is with Logan taking off on his bike.

A short clip of Jay kicking around with his rattle shoes on....too cute.

Has it been a month already?

So, I know that I need to take some more recent photos because Jay is getting older and putting on the pounds, but here are some photos of all my boys from our stay in Texas. Thanks so much Mom, Dad, Suzannah, and all those who kept us in their prayers. We surely felt them.

New Addition

Jay Dallas Tanner arrived on July 30th. He was 6 lbs 9 ounces and 20 in long. We don't have great access to putting our pictures up yet, so they will be coming in the next few days or so. Adam, Logan, Jay and I are all doing well and enjoying our stay in Texas with Gma and Gpa Butler. Pics to come soon!

Turn up the sound

So, one of the many sights we've been told are a MUST SEE in the Dallas area is the Cockroach Hall of Fame. So, off we went. Logan was much braver than the rest of us. In this video, the cockroach is actually hissing each time he pets him, so turn it up to get the full effect! Also, here are some pics from the past month.

Logan is wearing this guy's hat, which has his dead pet cockroaches around the trim.

Look closely, this is supposed to be Brittany Spears
