two in one

I should have made these two different postings, but no matter. Jay was blessed in church on the 6th of this month and it was such a sweet blessing. He really has a wonderful dad and we are so happy to have him in our family. He is a wonderful little boy and has lots of smiles for us when he is awake. He is a very good singer and usually accompanies us when we sing to him. Here are some pictures of the little man and after Jay, there are some little tidbits of what Logan has been up to these days, too.

Laugh Out Loud

As I'm changing Jay's diaper, Logan jumps up into the rocking chair, puts the boppy on his lap and a burp cloth on his shoulder and says, "Feed Baby Jay." I say, "You want to feed Jay?" He says, "Okay." Later, when I am changing Logan's diaper, I find one of my breast pads in his shirt.

Logan: "Ginny! Ginny! Giiiin, come here!" I walk down the stairs where he is waiting and look at him with a look only a mother could give and he says, "Hi, mommy."

Logan: "Daddy's crib?" After a little questioning, I figured out he wanted to play on our bed.

When I don't have pockets to put my phone in, I usually just put it down my shirt so I am not constantly loosing it. Logan was sitting on my lap and opened the front of my shirt and looked down. I was a little worried until he said, "Where's your phone?"

The other day I was nursing Jay in his room and Logan did a wonderful job of playing quietly in his own room the entire time. After I was all done, I went to praise him for a job well done, when I realized he wasn't in HIS room, he was in MY room. Bills were torn apart and colored all over in red pen(which I never found) and the computer was so jumbled that no buttons would work, so I had to shut it down. I now put a gate up in front of my door when I nurse Jay because our door doesn't lock.

Notice how in-sync the motorcycle sound is with Logan taking off on his bike.

A short clip of Jay kicking around with his rattle shoes on....too cute.
