October: Halloween. We had a puppy dog, dinosaur, baby and cowgirl. The puppy dog barked and slobbered and the dinosaur roared and swung his tail mightely. A very kind family gave the boys a car and they have really enjoyed riding around in it. The L man is getting the hang of steering. J usually has a large, plastic bat that he carries along for the ride.

Here's the catch up....road trip to North Carolina for a family reunion, fun 4th of July, Jay's first birthday(what an adorable boy), end of summer and beginning of fall, which is sure to bring winter all too soon.:)

Logan's Bday!

Well, Logan turned 3 this past month and we had a family party and one at the park with his friends. The park was empty when we got there....maybe because it was 90+ degrees outside...but then two busloads of kids pulled up and piled out. It worked out fine, we just did cake and presents first and they left by the time we were done so we had the park to ourselves again. But, before they left, all the kids gathered around us and sang Happy Bday to Logan. It was pretty cool.....so I included the video.

REALLY, where does the time go?

How is it that time goes by so fast sometimes and slowly at others and yet, time really isn't changing at all? Anywho, we've had a baby shower at our house
(thanks to Jess for the candy poop game idea) and have been rewallpapering the kitchen and had Grandma and Grandpa Tanner visit and we've just been trying to take pictures along the way. Logan shows us some dance moves and the picture of the trucks is actually a family photo, if you didn't know. So, here's what we've got and in no particular order, either. I still can't figure out how to change the downloaded pictures from text to actual pictures....ah well. Any advice out there?

a few stories and pics

At the table while eating lunch, Logan says to me "Mom, dad is a herbavore like triceratops."

We have a calender board where Logan can change the weekday, month, date, and year and today while we were changing the day I said, "Okay, Logan, what number comes after the number 6?" He's gotten it right every time this week so far, so very confidently he yells, "13!"

Jay absolutely LOVES basketball. He loves everything about it. He loves to watch us play and the basketball is by far his favorite toy, so for Easter, I got Logan a soccer Easter basket and Jay a basketball basket. He held on to that thing all day. He just loved it....what a cutie.

Adam had a birthday at the end of March and we enjoyed a fun family party. The balloons were a BIG hit for days and days afterwards....as were the baskets and plastic eggs after Easter.

who am i kidding

It's been a long time, but that's usually how it goes. We have enjoyed a visit from my mom and her two sisters and a trip down to Chicago to see my dad and brothers. It was just wonderful to see everybody. The big news at our house is that Jay rolled over from back to belly for the first time, and continues to do so often, and Logan is officially potty trained! Yippee!!! Enjoy!
