New Addition

Jay Dallas Tanner arrived on July 30th. He was 6 lbs 9 ounces and 20 in long. We don't have great access to putting our pictures up yet, so they will be coming in the next few days or so. Adam, Logan, Jay and I are all doing well and enjoying our stay in Texas with Gma and Gpa Butler. Pics to come soon!

Turn up the sound

So, one of the many sights we've been told are a MUST SEE in the Dallas area is the Cockroach Hall of Fame. So, off we went. Logan was much braver than the rest of us. In this video, the cockroach is actually hissing each time he pets him, so turn it up to get the full effect! Also, here are some pics from the past month.

Logan is wearing this guy's hat, which has his dead pet cockroaches around the trim.

Look closely, this is supposed to be Brittany Spears

Texas

Well, we wanted to give you all an update on how things are going. Logan and I made it to Texas in great shape and are doing well. My folks got a goat the other day and named her Dolly. Welcome to Texas, huh?!?! I am due in a little less than two weeks and everything is looking well. We are missing Adam like crazy, and he is keeping VERY busy at our home in Michigan. We will be sure to update the blog when our new little boy shows up!

We had a great visit from Gma and Gpa Tanner this past week. We enjoyed some great weather and beautiful scenery. Logan LOVED having them here, as did Adam and I. Come again soon!

Logan's 2nd Bday!

Logan's 2nd Bday was a really great day. We had choc. chip pancakes with strawberries and bananas for bfast (which he LOVES) and opened gifts and had cake after dinner. He was a VERY happy child ALL DAY!!!

This is a video of Logan anticipating me coming in with a very exciting gift.

Visitors

Well, it's always fun to get visitors and these past two months we've had a couple. We went down to Chicago and visited my folks and then they came back up with us. The Barringtons came to visit us after a trip to New York and Palmyra and Adam's parents are coming to see us next month! Who knew we'd get so many visitors in the U.P.?!?! We were so happy to visit with everyone and are grateful they were willing to make the trip. There's a few pics from our visitors and some others of Logan being cute.

Logan has enjoyed putting on hats, gloves, etc and getting ready to go outside....yeah we are in the UP....it's May and he's still doing it.:)
We came back from Chicago with some new things for Logan and the upcoming baby. This is Logan's new chair....he LOVES it.

Our friends the Barringtons visited with us for a couple of days. He was our Bishop and then our Stake President in our first ward and stake. It was SO wonderful to see them.
The many animals at the zoo.

Here's a video of Logan singing "snow" from the movie "White Christmas" with his dad.

Well, only two months before the next baby Tanner is born and we are very excited! I'm sure we'll have plenty of pics and videos to put on when the little feller shows up.:)

hit and miss

So, I'm a little hit and miss with posting, but I always come back. Here are some fun videos and pics.

Here is the first picture Adam had Logan take of the two of them.....

And here is the second one, when Adam told Logan to smile.:)

Pregnancy is going as well as can be expected. What a good sport...still has a smile with 3 1/2 months left!

Adam's super, great, wonderful bday party!

We've gotten more use and fun out of those balloons than I thought possible.

Okay, so this was not my doing. I was icing cupcakes and so I put him in the chair so he could eat one and I would be able to keep my eye on him and this is what came of it.

Adam sporting his bday gifts.
We had just read a Doctor Suess book that had thunder in it. The thunder goes "boom, boom, boom," so here is Logan reinacting it later.
